With the passing of four players in 2010 and one in 2011, the number of our surviving former Browns, ages in 2011 on birthday, updated, have fallen to 35:

  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, is not Marty Marion the only living 1944 WS player alive that played both for the Cards and Browns?

    I'd love to see some kind of recognition to Marty before he too is gone. Love that guy, more than Musial. Stan is a legend, no doubt but Slats Marion and Enos Slaughter deserve to have their names known, as many others do too, to ST Louis baseball fans.

  2. Roy Sievers was my favorite player of the old Washington Senators. I have an extensive collection of his baseball cards but nothing autographed. I understand he still lives in the St. Loius area. Is there any way to contact him and ask him to autograph something for me?

  3. Roy lives in the St. Louis area and still does autographing. Send him your material and a return stamped envelope for him to make your items back.
